Edward “Eddie” Eugene Polin, 46, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
The casket will be placed in the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday October 27, 2017 at Bethany Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Steve Scott and Rev. Jim Broad will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Antley, Mickey Antley, Jeff Taylor, William Griffith, Mark Walling and Gus Files.
Eddie was born on January 1, 1971. He was the son of Mr. Howard Polin and Mrs. Ann and Mr. William Fiddie. He was a mechanic with Thompson Contstruction Group. He was a big sports fan and drag racer.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Hartzog Polin of Orangeburg; daughter, Tori and Blake Peeples of Canaan Comminuty; son, Jay and Courtney Polin of Orangeburg; step-children, Troy and Candace Finley of St. George, Jason Finley of Pelion and Hunter Jackson of St. George; three grandchildren, Allie Kate Polin, Kaden Polin and Aubrey Peeples; five step-grandchildren, Taylor Crisp, Landen and Brayden Finley, Brice and Chase Finley; mother and step-father, Ann and William Fiddie of Orangeburg; father, Howard Polin of Orangeburg; half-sister, Chastity Polin of Orangeburg; half-brother, Kyle Polin of Orangeburg; uncle, Mike Hay of Cope and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the residence of Ann and William Fiddie.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
