Joan Catherine Petti Argoe ,   78 of Orangeburg  died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at her residence

The Casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service 

Funeral will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Highland Baptist Church in Orangeburg with burial at

Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Rev. Charlie Snipes officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers will be  Adam Argoe, Nick Argoe, Jeremy Gamiza, David Zachry , Charlie Snipes and Darven Hendley

She was born April 16, 1938 in North Attleboro, MA; the daughter of the late Nicholas “Nick” Petti and the late Mary Connely Petti. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and was a retired Home Health Care Nurse. She was the widow of the late Freddie M. Argoe.

Survivors include her children; Fred Michael Argoe (Marie) of Batesburg; Kim Brigando of Jekyll Island, GA and Anthony N. Argoe (Lynda) of Goose Creek; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; 1 sister; Ann Rollins of Massachusetts and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, April 17, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc in Orangeburg.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Carole Jones, Melba Cook, Tina Williams and Charlie Snipes and to Agape Hospice for all they did for Mrs. Joan.
