Peggy (Parker) Gleaton

Peggy Parker Gleaton, 81, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with Rev. Ray Hutto officiating.  A private burial will be held by the family.                   

Mrs. Gleaton was born on October 14, 1935 in Orangeburg.  She was the daughter of the late Cliff Parker and the late Eunice Langston Parker.  She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Gleaton; a daughter, Peggy Yvonne “Bonnie” Strickland and her brother, Tommy Parker.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy (Daniel) Gartman of Orangeburg; a son, Ricky (Cathy) Gleaton of Reevesville; seven grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and a sister, Betty Hubbard of Aiken.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.
