Rosie Lavern Bannister

Rosie Lavern Bannister, 74, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Harrison Family Cemetery in Allendale, S.C.

Mrs. Bannister was born on December 1, 1943 in Union, S.C.  She was the daughter of the late Charles Malpass and the late Ruby Epps Malpass.  She was predeceased by her husband, James Hughey, Jr.; son, James Parham; a granddaughter; a sister and two brothers.

Survivors include daughters; Kathy Funchess, Rose “Lib” Barnes; sons, Michael Parham (Sherrie), Joseph Parham; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Salley Amaker, Patricia Spiers; brothers, David Malpass and John Wayne Malpass.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
