Carol Lawson Bair, 76 of Orangeburg passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 surrounded by her family.
The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 24, 2019 before the service at the church.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Highland Baptist Church, 4695 North Road, Orangeburg with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg with Rev. Richard Porter officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Pallbearers will be Woody Keitt, Harry Patterson, Pete Caulk, Wilbur Cook, Gene Platt and Ray Blankenship.
She was born August 10, 1943 in Lexington, SC; the daughter of the late Katie Lee Baughman Lawson and the late Wyman Lawson. Carol graduated from Orangeburg High School in 1961. She worked as a bank teller for 25 years and loved playing the piano in her church for many years. She was also predeceased by a brother, Ronnie Lawson.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Aaron C. “A.C.” Bair of the home, one daughter, Rene’e (Jerry) Mullis of Hephzibah, GA; one grandson, Joshua D. Mullis of Augusta, GA and one great granddaughter. Emmalyn A. Mullis of Augusta, GA.
Memorials may be made to Highland Baptist Church, 4695 North Road, Orangeburg, SC 29118.
