Carolyn Cogburn Royster

Carolyn Cogburn Royster, 88 of Orangeburg passed into the eternal presence of her Lord and Savior on Monday afternoon, June 18, 2018.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2018 at Rowesville Baptist Church, 605 River Drive, Rowesville, SC. The Casket will be placed in the church at 2:00 PM and the family will be available to visit prior to the service. Burial will be at Fellowship Baptist Church, North Road, Wolfton, SC.

Mrs. Royster was born January 31, 1930 in Rock Hill, SC; the daughter of the late Rev. Richard Furman Cogburn and the late Cornelia Sanders Cogburn.  She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church; a loving wife, mother and a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Rev. Donald Rankin Royster.

Survivors include one daughter; Susan Royster of Cope, SC; two sons; Rev. Donny Royster (Sondra) of Cope, SC and Rev. David Royster of Rowesville, SC. She cherished her four grandchildren and her three great grandchildren. She will be sorely missed for her love and laughter and Christian Service throughout her life.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2018 at Rowesville Baptist Church.
