Claribel Jeanette (Nettles) Hunt

Claribel Jeannette Hunt, 82, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg.  Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Michael Anderson, Audie Haigler, Donnie Anderson, Corey Antley, Steve Shaw and David Anderson

Mrs. Hunt was born on September 7, 1935 in Orangeburg, S.C.  She was the daughter of the late John Nettles and the late Eulie Fogle Nettles.  She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond O. Hunt and her brother, Bobby Wayne Nettles.

Survivors include her children, John Anderson (Lynette) of Kingsland, GA, Don Anderson of Orangeburg, Bruce Anderson (Debbie) of Elloree and Susan Smith (Eddie) of Florence; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Howard Nettles (Ann) of Orangeburg and a number of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. prior to the funeral service.
