Gary Howell Jeffcoat

Gary Howell Jeffcoat, 61, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018.   

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg.  Rev. Robert Cannon will be officiating.

Mr. Jeffcoat was born on July 21, 1956 in Orangeburg.  He was the son of David H. Jeffcoat, Jr. and the late Ann Thomas Jeffcoat.  He was a graduate of Carter High School in Mascot, Tennessee.  He attended the University of Tennessee.  Mr. Jeffcoat loved watching the University of Tennessee and the University of South Carolina football on the tv.  He also spent many hours playing sudoku and watching gameshows on tv.  He was predeceased by his wife, Ellen Yost Jeffcoat.

Survivors include his father, David H. Jeffcoat, Jr. of Orangeburg; sisters, Mary Bruce and Carl Bagwell of Gilbert, Laura and Randy Zelanak of Knoxville, TN; niece, Leslie and Ray Procter of Lexington; nephew, Nicholas Zelanak of Knoxville, TN, Grand-niece, Claire Procter; grand-nephew, Wyatt Procter both of Lexington; step-daughters, Stacie Shultz of St. Matthews and Valarie Seymore of Orangeburg.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
