George was an amazing friend and he will be greatly missed. I was drawn to him for his big heart and our love for animals. I believe his best friend was his dog 'Ash'.
The animal world cried for the loss of someone so special.
George, I’m grateful to have known you and to call you my close friend. Love you. May You Rest In Peace. ☘️🕊

I sincerely believe this world was a better place because George was in it. I don't believe he ever had a bad day. And not only was kind and polite, but hilarious too. What I think about when I think about George is work and welding. He always wanted everything to be exactly right, 100%. The first time I met him he told me he wanted to learn everything he possibly could about welding and I never forgot that. RIP George, we are really going to miss you so much.

I’ll always have a place in my heart for George. I’ll never forget the young man that always had a smile on his face, and sweet and kind to everyone. When he first started working at Vogtle, he could not wait to weld, but he had to wait on his certs, I remember him coming to the window every night checking, he was so anxious to go to work. I was very impressed by this young man’s initiative. My prayers go out to his family and everyone that knew him. He will surely be missed at Plant Vogtle.

Words are never adequate in moments like these. We will say though, that our hearts go out to you, and we will always remember the joyous memories that we are privileged to have in knowing George. Remember when you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.

George was a wonderful young man, full of life, love and laughter. He made an impression in my life during the time he was in my youth group. He was a gentleman and kind person. Will miss him.......may God bless the family as they go thru this trying time in their lives. Heaven has gained another angel. With a heavy heart I send my love and support. God bless all of you who were touched by George. Life is too short not to make a difference.....hug while you can, love a lot and tell others about Jesus. Be sure of your destiny....know the Lord and serve Him. Praise God for His mercy during difficult times. We don't understand why things like this happen. there is a void that needs to be filled in our hearts and we can only cling to Jesus during times like this. May God hold you in His arms at this time. Feel His presence. He loves you! I send my love and prayers.

I remember this sweet child riding his bicycle through the campground at Santee. He was such a sweet happy little boy and always kept us laughing. My heart breaks for those left behind but we will see him on the other side, where he will be making everyone laugh a little more. God bless you George! You will be missed greatly.
