Harold O'neal Fanning

Mr. Harold O’Neal Fanning, Sr., 73 of Norway passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at Aiken Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery near Neeses. 

Pallbearers will be Harry Fanning, Chris Fanning, Eddie Fanning, Brandon Griffith, Harold O Fanning III and Howard Fanning, Jr.

Mr. Fanning was born June 19, 1945  in Norway, S.C., a son of the late Simon Peter Fanning and the late Azilee Berry Fanning.  He was the owner/operator of Fanning Remodeling, a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Elaine Fanning, sister, Earline Wagers. Brothers, Franklin Fanning, Charlie  Fanning, and Laverne Fanning.  

Survivors include two sons; Harold O’Neal Fanning, II (Tanya) of Orangeburg and Howard Owen Fanning of Bamberg, two daughters; Lisa Etheridge (Anthony) and Destiny Fanning both of Orangeburg; Step children Tracy Dyches (Deborah) of Arizona, Paul Shaw (Dawn)  of Anderson and Lisa Norton (Chris) of Alabama; three sisters  Maggie Fogle of Orangeburg, Patsy Beck (Robert) and Barbara Ferguson both of Lexington; four brothers Harry Fanning (Minnie Lee) and Jim Fanning (Susan) both of Orangeburg S. P. Fanning (Barbara) of Norway and Pete Fanning (Sandra) of Neeses, brother-in-law, Richard Wagers of Orangeburg,. 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren

Friends may call at the residence of Harold Fanning, Jr., 140 Fanning Five  Road, Orangeburg.

Visitation will be held 6: to 8:00 P.M. Monday April 29, 2019 at Thompson Funeral Home in Orangeburg.
