Harry Sanford Obituary

Harry Lynn Sanford, 63, of St. Matthews, formerly of Cordova passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Gethsemane Baptist Church in St. Matthews. Rev. Henry Cooper will be officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Baptist Church Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers will be Gene Lawson, Donald Bonnette, Jerry Troutman, Ken Lane, Bruce Lee, Paul Sanford and Steve Quick

Harry was born on August 4, 1955 in Orangeburg. He was the son of the late Alvin “Bub” Ryland Sanford and the late Thelma Fogle Sanford. He was predeceased by a brother, Alvin “Al” Ryland Sanford.

Survivors include his brother, Larry Sanford (Jennifer) of Cope; a niece, Amanda; aunt, Barbara Stroman and a special friend, Paul Waltz.
