Harry “Jo Jo’ Asbury Ott, III, 49, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church in Orangeburg. Rev. Anthony Hughes will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chris O’Cain, Chad Williams, Stevie Warner, Shawn Kincaid, David Myers, Roger Kovach, Jr., Roger Kovach, III, Lee Amaker and Brian Newsome.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Jamison Volunteer Fire Department.
Mr. Ott was born on November 20, 1968 in Orangeburg. He was the son of Harry Asbury Ott, Jr. and Ann Mills Ott. He was the manager of Dukes Barbeque in St. George, S.C. and was also employed at Dukes Barbeque in Orangeburg on Chestnut Street.
Survivors include his wife, Misty Chavis Ott of Orangeburg; his parents, Harry and Ann Ott of Orangeburg; sister, Lisa and Steve Warner of Orangeburg; two step-daughters, Savanna Feagin of Orangeburg and Caitlyn Bussey of St. Matthews; nephew, Stevie Warner of Orangeburg; step-grandson, Brennen Feagin of St. Matthews and grandfather, Benjamin Mills of Orangeburg.
Friends may call the residence of Lisa and Steve Warner at 3332 Belleville Road in Orangeburg.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
