Henry Alexander Bass, 64, of 170 Baycreek Lane Cordova passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Orangeburg. Burial will follow at Wesley Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cordova. Rev. John Paul Sibley and Rev. John Mark Patrick will be officiating.
The casket will be placed in the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Pallbearers will be Brian Baldwin, Michael Baldwin, Terry Fogle, Kyle Delaney, Caleb Bass and Jason Fogle.
Mr. Henry was born on October 14, 1953 in Orangeburg. He was the son of the late Caleb Hansel Bass and the late Hazel Baldwin Bass. He was a design engineer for Thompson Construction. Mr. Henry was one of the founding deacons of Trinity Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and a Sunday school teacher. He was a Godly man that loved his family and his church. He was predeceased by a brother, Hansel Ray “Lad” Bass and a sister, Virginia “Ginger” Fogle.
Survivors include his wife, Harriett Bass; daughters, Jennifer Johns (Jason) and Bridget Bass; seven grandchildren, Allie Crawley, Isaiah, Palmer, Lenna, Jude, Monroe and Farrah Johns; brother, Phil Bass (Susan); brother-in-law, Terry Fogle (Barbara); sister-in-law, Barbara Fogle; mother-in-law, Ruby Lee Fogle and a number of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
