Jacquelyn “Jacki” Rae Speed, 33, of Cope passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Pastor Kevin Ard will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Warren, Joey Speed, Paul D. Bishop, Charles Wannamaker, Paul Bishop II and Sean Fletcher.
Ms. Jacquelyn was born on October 24, 1985 in Orangeburg, SC. She was the daughter of Joan Marie Griffith and Worth Edward Speed. She is a graduate of Edisto High School. Jacquelyn had a zest for life that was all her own, tie dye was her signature color, music her passion, family her heart. She lived life to the fullest, she loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, fishing, and playing the keyboard. She was also a video game enthusiast to say the least. Jacquelyn wasn’t afraid to be herself, she shined the brightest when she was in her element. She was truly an amazing person.
She is survived by her two children, Desiree’ Rahn, Trinity Rahn; mother, Joan Marie Griffith; father, Worth Edward Speed; five brothers, USN Chief Petty Officer Chadwick Speed (Maria), USN First Class Petty Officer Chase Speed, Wesley Warren, Jason Speed (Candace), Joey Speed and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
