Laurie Wade Antley, Jr., 80 of Orangeburg  passed away Tuesday,   June 26, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Thursday, June 28, 2018 before the service at the church 1:00 PM Thursday, June 28, 2018 at  St. George Baptist Church  in Orangeburg with burial at St. George Baptist Church Cemetery in Orangeburg with Rev. David Anderson Officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc  in Orangeburg. 

He was born December 20, 1937 in Orangeburg, SC; the son of the late Laurie Wade Antley, Sr. and the late Nora Weeks Antley. He served in the National Guard Armory and was retired from Albemarle as a supervisor. He was a member of St. George Baptist Church. Mr. Laurie loved his family, he loved fishing and riding his tractor to cut grass. He was the widower of the late Angie Bair Antley.

Survivors  include his son; Eric Antley and Stephanie Caughman of Leesville; 2 daughters; Annette and Gene Spires of Orangeburg; Jennifer A. Moore and Michael Snelson of Leicester, NC; grandchildren; Clint Spires, Natalie Spires, Victoria Antley, Christian Antley, Grace Antley, Allison Moore and Melanie Moore; 5 great great grandchildren; 1 brother; John David Antley (Kay) of Newberry; 1 sister; Cindy and Brad Packard of Charleston.
