Linda (Axson) McNeil

Linda Axson McNeil, 70, of Cameron passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Northside Baptist Church in Orangeburg.  Dr. Shane Stutzman will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Cameron Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Casey Axson, Adam Fogle, Scott McNeil and Howard Roe.

Mrs. Linda was born on June 23, 1949 in Orangeburg.  She was the daughter of Dorothy “Dot” Carrigg Axson and the late Leon Axson.  Mrs. Linda was a member of Northside Baptist Church.  She loved going to Indian Rocks Beach every summer with her daughter and grandchildren.  She also enjoyed planting flowers in her yard. 

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Donald McNeil; children, Paula McNeil O’Neal (Spencer Mitchell Clark), Richard Craig McNeil (Kim); grandchildren, Dylan McNeil, Audrey O’Neal; mother, Dorothy “Dot” Axson; brother, Donald Axson (Beth) and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 P.M. on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Thompson Funeral Home in Orangeburg.
