Mary Lou (Smith) Robinson

Mary Lou Smith Robinson, 91 passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Pruitt Healthcare Center in Orangeburg                                                              

A Graveside Service will be held at 4:30 PM Thursday, June 20, 2019  at Hagan Cemetery in Smoaks, SC with Rev. Dennis Hall officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.  The family will receive friends after the graveside service                                                                                                                                           

Mrs. Mary was born July 14, 1927 in Jasper County, SC; the daughter of the late Riley Lee Smith and the late Mary Lee Smith-Smith.  She retired from Roper. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Cope. She was preceded in death by a daughter; Gloria Lunsford and a son; Walter E. Mixon; also, by 6 brothers; Preston Smith, Reese Smith, R.L. Smith, Norman Smith, Elliott Smith and Herman Smith

Survivors include 2 sons; R. Lee Mixon of Branchville and Kenneth Tuten; 1 daughter; Mrs. Gene (Mary) Barnes of Smoaks; 1 brother, Eugene Smith of Waynesboro, GA; 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
