My condolences to the parents of Nikolis. Losing a precious child in death is very difficult. Our loving heavenly father Jehovah understand how you feel because his precious son Jesus died. In his word the Bible he gives comfort for all that need it. Psalm 147:3 says; He (God) heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds. And at Isaiah 33:24 he promise in the near future that sickness will be gone. So even though your hearts may be heavy with sadness and grief, remember that Jehovah will help you through this if you rely on him (1Peter 5:7).

When a child dies, it is particularly hard for the mother. Thus the Bible acknowledges the bitter grief that a mother can feel. Of course, it is difficult for the bereaved father as well. “O that I might have died, I myself, instead of you,” lamented King David when his son Absalom died in 2 Samuel 18:33 and Revelation 21:3-4 states, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. May these words give you a new hope and help you to cope with the grief and sadness now and in the days ahead.
