My deepest sympathy to the family of Ms. Shuler. It is very difficult to lose a loved one in death. Jehovah God understand how you feel because death was not a part of his original purpose. But he has made a provision by means of his son Jesus Christ to resurrect dead loved ones back to life (Hosea 13:14). He also promise to comfort and soothe ones when anxieties overwhelmed them (Psalm 94:19).
