Virginia (Felder) Herrington

Virginia Felder Herrington, 93 passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Jolley Acres Healthcare Center in Orangeburg.                                                                  

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg.  Burial will follow at Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery in Bowman. Rev. Michael Written will be officiating.

Pallbearers  will be  Travis Carter, Jeremy Alan Fralix, Tyler Arant,  Hal Arant, Jimmy O’Cain and Johnny Shuler

Mrs. Herrington was born on July 19, 1925 in Bowman, SC.  She was the daughter of the late Daniel W. Felder and the late Bertha Livingston Felder. Mrs. Virginia studied music at Columbia College. She was a member of Wightman United Methodist Church. She was a lover of music and especially loved playing the piano. She was the widow of the late Albert Russell Herrington and was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Herrington.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law; Cindy Herrington of Bowman and a grandson, Nicholas Herrington of Bowman.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Memorials may be made to The Shiloh Community Historical Association P.O. Box 295 Bowman, South Carolina, 29018.
