Royce Albert Carson

Royce Albert Carson, 68, of Cope passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the home of Eddie Carson, 1615 Farrells Road, Branchville, S.C. 29432.

Mr. Carson was born on January 6, 1955 in Bamberg County.  He was the son of the late William W. Carson and the late Gloria R. Proveaux Carson.  He was a hard worker and spent most of his life working construction.  Royce was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being in the outdoors.  He will forever be missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Johnny Carson (Ashley), James “Bubba” Carson (Cayce), Kasey Chavis (Terry), Barbara “BJ” Sweatman (Johnnie), Michael Carson (Amanda); grandchildren, Katrina, Megan, Alaysia, Hayle, Karleigh, Alyssa, Lily, Payton; great-grandchildren, Paisley, Charlytte; brothers, Mikey Carson (Connie), Eddie Carson (Angela), Jeff Carson (Kaye); isters, Gloria Murphy (Mike), Carolyn Hutto (Tom), Lisa Frye (Terry) and a number of nieces and nephews.
