Agnes Axson Nettles Dantzler, 95 of Chapin, SC died Tuesday, January 19,2016,at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with Rev. Dave Copeland officiating with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
She was born June 28, 1920 in Orangeburg, SC; the daughter of the late Alfred Frederick Axson and the late Iona Livingston Axson. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was retired from Hygrade Meat Packing Plant and was a former employee with Orangeburg Sewing Room and Floyds Sewing Room. She was the widow of the late H. Simpson Nettles and the late Leroy Dantzler.
Survivors include 1 daughter; Cynthia Nettles (Gary) Sando of Chapin; 1 granddaughter; Dr. Whitney Wolfe (Christopher) Thoma of Orangeburg; 2 great grandchildren; Noah Thomas and Regan Thoma both of Orangeburg.

Visitation will be held 1:30 to 2:30 PM Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
