Alfred Weeks Etheridge

Alfred Weeks Etheridge, 79, of Neeses passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Double Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, 3567 Neeses Highway, Orangeburg. Rev. Thomas Brookshire will be officiating.

Mr. Etheridge was born on January 1, 1941 in Wagener. He was the son of the late Eugene Etheridge and the late Jewel Johnson Etheridge. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked for many years at Orangeburg County.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Chavis Etheridge; granddaughter, Ariana Johnson; son, Steven (Dawn) Etheridge of Neeses; daughter, Rebecca (Jon) Pejan of Cope; granddaughter, Emily (Lucas) Neil; great-grandson, Elliotte Neil; two step-daughters, Tiffany Foster, Jennifer Gilbert; step-son, Matthew Folge; twelve step-grandchildren; five great-step-grandchildren; three great-great step grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
