Alice Gray Boyleston

Alice Gray Boyleston was taken into God's loving arms joining her beloved husband, George W. Boyleston on Saturday, December 6, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer.

***the casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service****

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Rivelon Baptist Church, with the Rev. Kevin Ard officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers will be Allen "Boo" Gray, Ronnie Gray, Mark Jackson, Buck Gray, Jakie Fogle, W.E. Gray and Kenny Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be her Adult II Sunday School Class of Rivelon Baptist Church

Mrs. Boyleston was born May 14, 1927 in Orangeburg, a daughter of the late Jacob B. Gray and the late Marie Elizabeth Baltzegar Gray. She was the widow of the late George W. Boyleston. She was retired from Southern Bell, a volunteer with Edisto Club of ATT Pioneers, a faithful member of Rivelon Baptist Church, a devout Christian and a loving Mother.

Surviving are daughters, Cynthia (Dana) Rickards of Cope and Becky (Allen) Kuck of Cope; son, Tim (Cindy) Boyleston of Orangeburg, and raised as a son, Mike Fanning of Elloree; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, brothers, Harry (Betty) Gray of Orangeburg and Bill (Eudell) Gray of Orangeburg; sister, Betty Jackson of Orangeburg.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, December 8, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
