Mrs. Alice Elaine Myers, 73, of 558 Tee Vee Road, Elloree, SC died December 2, 2014 at her residence.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg, SC with Rev. Clark McCrary officiating.
Mrs. Myers was born January 4, 1942 in Calhoun County, SC; the daughter of the late J.P. Polin and the late Narvis Hammond Polin. She was a retired Owner and Operator Cosmetologist of Elaine's Beauty Shop. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Elloree. She was the widow of the late Gordon C. Myers of St. George and was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcey Glisson.
Survivors include two daguthers; Sandra (Franklin) Hughes of Santee and Shelly (Blaine) Shuler of Elloree; three step-children; Kenny W. Myers, Debbie M. Clark and Melissa M. Behie all of St. George; she had three grandchildren; Jeff (Ashley) Gates of Charleston; Stephanie (Jonathan) Quattlebaum of Lone Star and Michael Mull of Columbia; two brothers; Theron P. (Judy) Polin and Ray L. Polin and a sister; Wanda P. Summers all of Elloree; five step-grandchildren and four nephews.
