Alice Gillam Syfrett

December 13, 1914 — February 3, 2013

Alice Gillam Syfrett, 98 of 2130 Middleton Street Orangeburg died Sunday at her residence.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday February 6,2013 at Thompson Funeral Home Inc with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mark A. Collins, Patrick Lee Syfrett, George Marion Syfrett, Joseph K. Syfrett, Mark E. Jackson and Tony D. Till

Mrs. Syfrett was born December 13,1914 in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late King Joseph Gillam and the late Bessie Bell Evans Gilliam. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and preceded in death by her husband, Robert Elee Syfrett,Sr.

Survivors, three daughters Mrs. Gerald David (Alice) Collins of West Columbia; Mrs William P. (Bill)(Anne) Wise and Mrs. Mike(Ann) Perry all of Orangeburg, two sons, Robert (Bobby) Elee (Peggy) Syfrett,Jr. of Cordova and George K. (Sue) Syfrett of Orangeburg, a brother Lawrence Harold (Pete) Gillam of Orangeburg;20 grandchildren,38ngreat grandchildren,2 great great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. William (Bill) Wise, 2130 Middleton Street Orangeburg SC.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 Tuesday February 5,2013 at Thompson Funeral Home Inc.
