Amber Nicole Smoak , 16 of Sweetwater, Tenn passed away Monday, May 5, 2014
at her home due to a long illness.

A Funeral Service will be conducted 7:00 PM Wednesday,

May 7, 2014 at Restoration Church in Riceville, Tennessee

with Rev. Johnny Hope officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the

church prior to the service.

A second service will be conducted

10:00 AM Saturday, May 10, 2014 at

Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg, SC with burial at

Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg, SC

Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg is serving the family

Pallbearers will be held Doug O’Donnell, Scotty Bales, Chuck Gilbert,

Mark Thomas, Danny Bolton, Scotty Champy, Rodney Koon

and Larry Arrowood, Jr.

She was a native of Orangeburg, SC and a former resident

of Athens, Tn. She was a member of the Restoration Church of Riceville.

She was preceded in death by two uncles, Timmy Kemmerlin and Billy

Smoak and a cousin, Brittney Headden.

Survivors include her mother, Cynthia Ferguson Gilbert of Sweetwater;

father, Jeffrey Smoak of North, SC; two brothers, Justin Smoak of N. Augusta,

SC and Cole Gilbert of Sweetwater; maternal grandparents, Mike and Maxine

Ferguson of Cope, SC; maternal grandmother; Dixie Crosby of Orangeburg, SC;

paternal grandparents; Madelyn and Owen Smoak of North, SC; Charles and

Terry Edgemon of Cope, SC; aunts and uncles; Scotty and Michelle Champy,

Rodney Koon and Jamey Ferguson, Larry and Donna Arrowood, Danny Boltin

and Rhonda, Robert and Patty Fulton, Mike and Nikki Smoak, 23 cousins, 2 very

special caregivers, Chris Thomas and Liz Weinberg and honorary family members,

Chuck Gilbert, Chase Gilbert and Joyce Gilbert.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, May 9, 2014 at Thompson

Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg, SC.

The family will recieve friends at the residence of Jamey Ferguson, 126 Parvis Road; Cordova, SC.
