Annie Lee Lefvendahl (Adicks) Sanders

Mrs. Sanders went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 28, 2017.  She was  born on May 27, 1927; She was 1 of 11 children born to  Cora and Grover Cleveland Adicks., .  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Larry Adicks, Russell Cain, Eddie Adicks, Andy Brickle, William Sanford and Buddy Adicks.

Mrs. Annie was married to August L. Lefvendahl until his death on February 19, 1969.  From this union four children were born, Leonard Lefvendahl, Jr. (deceased), Boyce William (Marie) Lefvendahl, Sr. of Cordova, S.C., Mrs. Deborah (Tony) Hawkins of Lexington, S.C. and Ms. Stephanie L. Sanford of Columbia, S.C.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lenny (Julia) Lefvendahl of Warner Robins, GA, Will (Brandi) Lefvendahl of Kathleen, GA, Boyce (Adrienne) Lefvendahl of Orangeburg, Hal (Mariea) Douglas of Cordova and Leann Sanford of Columbia, S.C.; great-grandchildren, Ethan Lefvendahl of Warner Robins, GA, Jase Lefvendahl of Kathleen, GA and Boyce William Lefvendahl III of Orangeburg, who was Grandma Sanders “Shining Light.”  She also has a brother, Carl Adicks (Little Bud) of the Canaan Community.  Mrs. Annie was married to D.B. Sanders (Sonny) until his death on November 3, 2010.  She was predeceased by her brothers, John, Glenn, George, Ed, Grover (Big Bud), Charles  and sisters Lizzy, Myrtle and Elma.

A big heartfelt “Thank You” goes to her nephew Thomas and his wife Betty of the Canaan Community, Nancy Culler, Betty Smith, Nancy Cain and Elaine Way that helped care for our mother during this past year.  We would also like to thank Grove Park Hospice for the care she was given.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice in Mrs. Annie’s memory.
