Annie Lou "Susie" Carrigg Kemmerlin

June 18, 1923 — August 23, 2013

Annie Lou "Susie" Carrigg Kemmerlin, 90 entered into eternal joy, peace and rest on Friday, August 23, 2013, at the Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg. The funeral will follow at 4:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Four Holes Baptist Church Cemetery near Orangeburg. Pastor Tim Sanders and Pastor Ronnie Spires will be offciaitng.

PALLBEARERS will be Michael Pascoe, Nicholas Pascoe, John Pascoe, Gregg Riser, Marty Carrigg and Gerald Carrigg

HONORARY PALLBEARERS will be Jimmy Utsey and Bobby Heckle

She was born June 18, 1923 in Orangeburg County, the daughter of the late Annie Pearl Chavis Carrigg and the late Harry Shellie Carrigg. She was the widow of the late James Clinton Kemmerlin of Orangeburg. She worked at Hygrade Food Products, Utica Tool Company and also enjoyed in her later years demonstrating food products in local stores. She will always be remembered as a sweet and loving mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Beverly Jean Kemmerlin; a brother, Harry Robert Carrigg of Bamberg and a sister, Jennie Carrigg Cashatt of Columbia.

Survivors include her loving and dedicated son, Roger Clinton Kemmerlin and his wife Pam of Eutawville, a granddaughter, Kristen K. Pascoe and her husband David Pascoe and their three sons; Michael, Nicholas and John Pascoe of St. Matthews. Also her extended family; Gregg and Kena Riser and their children Keagan, Brooke, Margo and Rock Riser of Bowman, and Erica and Scott Summers and their daughter Isabella of Cameron.

Her family would like to extend special thanks to the staff and residents of Magnolia's Assisted Living in Santee for her loving care over the past two years.
