Archie Wolfe, Jr.

Archie Wolfe, Jr., 71, of Cordova passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Cordova.  Rev. Brian Self and Rev. Larry Williams will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 7:00-9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers will be Bryon Lovern, Mark Nettles, Charles Mack, Dusty Mack, Kenny Mack and Hoyt Jameson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gerald Smoak, Pete Lea, Jason Nettles, Vance Kittrell, Jimmy Martin, Johnny Kennerly, Joe Van Faussien, Tom Gainey, Roger Brant and Wallace Williams..

Mr. Archie was born on September 14, 1946 in Orangeburg, S.C.  He was the son of the late Archie Wolfe, Sr. and the late Theresa Fogle Wolfe.  He was retired from Koyo.  Mr. Archie was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family and especially with his grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his sister, Gloria McKenzie.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-two years, Shirley Wolfe of the home; daughters, Sherrie Parham (Michael) of Cordova, Sharon Waldrop (Steve) of Lexington, Melanie Crosby (Chad) of Cordova; grandchildren, Summer Thompson, Michael Parham, Nicholas, Sierra and Jonathan Waldrop and Skylar Crosby.
