Barbara J. Ott Troutman, 71, died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Canaan Baptist Church in Cope, S.C. with burial at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery in Cope, S.C. with Rev. Alan Woodward.
Mrs. Troutman was born on February 28, 1945 in Wagener, S.C. She was the daughter of the late John B. Hydrick and the late Beatrice Rutland Hydrick. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church in Cope, S.C. Mrs. Troutman was a retired Registered Nurse from Orangeburg Regional Hospital and Bamberg Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Earl (Tommy) Troutman of the home; 2 sons, Rick ("Monkey") Childress and Tammy Lockhart of Sandy Run, S.C. and Chip and Crystal Ott of Orangeburg, S.C.; grandchildren, Emily Ott, Nicole Ott, Zachary Young and Lakyn Young; step-grandaughters, Charleigh Troutman and Mia Troutman; step-grandson, Maxwell Troutman; 2 step-sons Eddie and Patty Troutman from California and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Troutman from Pendleton, S.C.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg
