Barney "Mike" Michael Patterson, Jr., 70 Cameron, SC died Tuesday, , November 18, 2014 at Laurel Baye Healthcare Center in Orangeburg.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A. M. Friday, November 21, 2014 Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Jerusalem United Methodist Church Cemetery near Elloree, S.C. with Pastor Gene Ball officiating Mike was born July 9, 1944 in Elloree, a son of the late Barney Michael Patterson, Sr. and the late Jessie Mae Bardin Patterson. He was retired District Supervisor for Security Forces and retired from the Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Garrick Robinson.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Lynn Patterson of Elloree, four sons; Barney and Michelle Patterson of Cameron, Russell D. Robinson and Linda Rentz of Orangeburg, David and Lynn Robinson and Doug and Greta Davis all of Florence; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the residence of Barney and Michelle Patterson, 402 Old Orangeburg Road, Cameron, S.C. and at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
