Benjamin "Ben" Malcolm Inabinet, 91 of Orangeburg died Monday, Sept. 23, 2013 at UPAC in Columbia, S.C.
Visitation will be 10:30-11:00 A.M. Wednesday, before the services at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with Rev. Ryan Tucker officiating.
Mr. Inabinet was born December 8, 1921 in the Four Holes Community, Orangeburg Co., son of the late Charles Reedy Inabinet and the late Marie Leila Carpenter Inabinet. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. On November 29, 1941 he married Minnie Lou Infinger Inabinet; she was his childhood sweetheart, the girl next door. He was the owner of Ben's Used Cars and Odds and Ends. He worked with Nic Nak Vending. During World War II, he was employed with civil services at the Navy Yard. He loved fishing and camping but his favorite hobby was building go carts. He was predeceased by a son; Benny Inabinet.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Minnie Lou Infinger Inabinet of Orangeburg; two daughters; Taunya (Virgil) Fairey of Orangeburg and Charleston; and Bonnie (Tommy) Thomas of Sandy Run; two sons; Donnie Inabinet and Allen (Bonnie) Inabinet all of Orangeburg; daughter in law; Bessie Inabinet of Orangeburg; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 10:30-11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
