Bernice Thompson (Hutto) Bozard

Bernice Hutto Thompson Bozard, 81 of Bamberg passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM  Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at  Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Rev. Steve Fields and Rev. Tommy Garrick officiating.

She was born May 20, 1936 in Whitesville, NC; the daughter of the late Hubert Lee Hutto, Sr. and the late Emma Buck Hutto. She was a member of Edisto Baptist Church and was owner and operator of Thompsons Cleaners in Bamberg and worked for over 20 years at Azalea Meats. She was the widow of the late Horace Thompson and later in life the widow of the late John T. (J.T.) Bozard.

Survivors include 1 daughter; Cheryl (Wayne) Blackburn of Cope; 3 sons; Dennis (Pamela) Thompson of Hendersonville, NC, Steve (Paula) Thompson of Orangeburg and Terry (Tara) Thompson of Elloree; 1 grandson; 3 grand-daughters; 4 great grand-daughters; 6 great grandsons; a special friend; Fannie Williamson of Orangeburg; 3 nieces and 6 nephews.

Visitation will be held  6:00 to 8:00 PM   Monday, April 30, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Memorials may be made to  a favorite charity.
