Betsy Ann (Bates) Williams

Betsy Ann Williams, 84, of Neeses passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Bethany Baptist Church, 125 Bethany Road, Orangeburg.  Rev. Henry Cooper will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 4, 2024, prior to the graveside service.

Mrs. Williams was born in Norway, S.C.  She was the daughter of the late Cecil Bates and the late Ruth Kennerly Bates.  She enjoyed listening to Christian music and baking for her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lynn McCoy Williams, Sr., a son,  Lynn McCoy Williams, Jr., a grandson, Alaric J. Williams, and a sister, Bonnie Bates.

Survivors include her daughters, Yvonne Ridenbaugh, Terri W. Fogle (Dale); five grandchildren, Dustin J. Ridenbaugh, Alexander Fogle, Dale H. Fogle, II (Eva), Jason Fogle, Brittany Fogle Wykle (Cody); three great-grandchildren; brothers, Macky Bates (Patricia), Johnny Bates and a number of nieces and nephews.
