Betty Jean (Bunch) Parker

Betty Jean Bunch Parker, widow of Billy Parker, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Betty was born in Winnsboro, S.C.  She was the daughter of the late Oswald Bunch and the late Janie Savage Bunch.  She was a member of Columbia Road Church of God. She worked for many years with Al Pooser’s Muffler and Alignment.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  Betty will be remembered for her sweet gentle spirit.

Survivors include her son, Billy Parker, Jr. (Janet) of Orangeburg; daughter, Toni Beasley (Max) of GA; grandchildren, Dana Parker, Haven Miller, Aaron Parker, Parker Stroble, Colie Holman, Jr., Tanya Weeks; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Williamson, Rebecca Weeks, Zoe Weeks, John Parker Miller, Clayton Beach, Cole Worthington, Jaxon Worthington, Logan Holman, Landon Stroble, Ryan Stroble; sisters, Dorothy Dominy, Judy Gowing (Roy) and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Columbia Road Church of God, 2485 Columbia Road, Orangeburg. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 4830 Columbia Road, Orangeburg. Rev. Deryk Morgan will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:15-2:00 P.M. at Columbia Road Church of God prior to the funeral service.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jeff Holman, Colie Holman, Cole Worthington, Parker Stroble, Jason Parker and Aaron Parker.
