Betty Weaver Collins

Betty Weaver Collins, 68,  passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 at the Regional Medical Center.  A memorial service will be held at  11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at  Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. with  Rev. Cindy Strock officiating.

Mrs. Collins was born on March 12, 1948 in Jesup, GA.  She was the daughter of the late Jim Weaver and the late Sara Lou May Weaver.  She was a member of Journey  Community Church.  She was the owner/operator of Direct Carpets in Orangeburg.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a special lady to everyone she met.

Survivors include her husband, David Collins of Orangeburg; sons; Kenneth Kent of Neeses and David Wesley Collins of Orangeburg; daughter Lisa Kay Marchant (Curtis) of Wilmington, N.C.; sisters, Geraldine Mobley and Christine Mullins both of Jesup, GA; 1 brother, Walter Weaver of Moncks Corner; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
