Betty Joanne (Crenshaw) Ackiss

Betty Joanne Ackiss, 83, of St. Matthews, formerly of Orangeburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the Regional Medical Center.

She was born on April 17, 1935 in Sunnyside, GA.  She was the daughter of the late Archie Crenshaw and the late Ava Goen Crenshaw. She was retired from Belk.  Mrs. Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, Jackie Gene Currington and was the widow of the Fred Lee Ackiss.

Survivors include her son; Keith (Tammy) Ackiss of Orangeburg; three grandchildren, Tony Ackiss (Megan) of Neeses; Robbie Ackiss (Brandy) of Lexington; Phillip Ackiss (Amber) of Orangeburg; four great grandchildren, Carter Ackiss of St. Matthews; Hunter and Bella Ackiss of Neeses and Charlotte Ackiss of Sumter; 1 brother, Herman Crenshaw of Griffin, GA; 1 sister, Mary Kelly of Griffin, GA and a special nephew, Jason Crenshaw of Griffin, GA.
