Betty M. Garrick, 79, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Lake Crossing Healthcare Facility.
**The casket will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to the funeral service.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church in Cope, S.C. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Cope, S.C. Rev. Ken Hay will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Coogler, Paul Coogler, Robert Sharpton, Brandon Capps and Ken Langley.
Mrs. Garrick was born on January 30, 1938 in Anderson, S.C. She was the daughter of the late Claude M. McCurley and the late Guynelle Swilling Phillips. She was retired from Sunbeam Electric Plant. Mrs. Garrick was predeceased by her husband Clyde S. Garrick and her son Mark Fanning.
Survivors include; daughters, Brenda Nell Coogler, Tammy Stewart and Sharon Lynn Langley all of Grovertown, Georgia; son Donald Stewart of Lumberton, N.C.; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
