Betty Laura Jennings Weeks, 86 of 601 Dantzler Street, St. Matthews passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.

Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg is assisting the family.

She was born October 11, 1932 in Orangeburg, SC; the daughter of the late Gilmore Jennings and the late Bessie Mae Byrd Holley. She was the widow of the late Ernest Harry Weeks, Sr. and was preceded in death by a son; Ernest Harry Weeks, Jr. and by a brother, Gilmore Bissell Jennings, Jr.

Survivors include 5 daughters; Melinda Wolfe of North Carolina, Janice Lake (Robert Lake) of Santee, Eula Wolfe of Columbia, Laura Jeffcoat (BillyJoe Jeffcoat) of St. Matthews and Mary Winstead (Ronald) of Cayce; a step-son, Walter Weeks (Pat) of Orangeburg; and step-daughter; Elaine Moorehead of Livingston and a sister, Byrdiemae “Byrdie” Pinette and multiple grandchildren.
