Betty J. Kittrell Kovacevich, 80, of Orangeburg passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Canaan Baptist Church; Canaan Community, Cope. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Alan Woodward will be officiating.
Mrs. Betty was born June 7, 1937 in Midway, SC; the daughter of the late Herman Kittrell and the late Minnie Darnell Kittrell. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church and a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by a son, Herman Edward Jeffcoat, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, George “Salty” Kovacevich of Orangeburg; a son; Timmothy David Jeffcoat and Jeania of Orangeburg; daughter; Sheryl Fields and Russell Davis of Cordova; son; Joseph Stanley Jeffcoat and Sheryl of St. Matthews; daughters; Robin Mishoe of Cordova; Rebecca K. Ferguson and Kenneth of Lexington; Kathleen and David Williams of Columbia and Laura Gandy and Jeff of Greenville; 30 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; also 1 sister; Daisy Bell Misali of Columbia.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
