Betty W. Collins, 75 of 372 Short Avenue; Orangeburg died peacefully Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Chaplain Edna Abraham and Mr. Dewey Walling officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers will be Bill Miller, Mitchell Baker, Jarrod Mintz, Jordan Collins, Eric CollinsJason Collins, Mark Walling; Andrew Yancey, Lee Yancey and Coy Adkins.

She was born June 22, 1938 in Calhoun County, SC; the daughter of the late Louise C. Driggers and the late John W. "Bill" Driggers and the late Andrew J. Walling, Sr. She was a retired postmaster of Rowesville, SC. She was a member of the National Association of Postmasters and a member of the National League of Postmasters. She was preceded in death by her former husband and best friend; Furman L. "Cotton" Collins and by a sister; Jane Yancey.

Survivors include her children; Gail C. Dial of Pelion; Debra C. Klinicki (James) of Cordova; Sabrina C. Baker (Borden) of Orangeburg; Tony Collins (Tammy) of Conway and Tracy C. Robinson (Jacob) of Summerville; a daughter of heart; Tommie Jo Harley of Orangeburg; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and cousins and Aunt Kathleen Harley of Orangeburg; 2 brothers; Andrew Walling , Jr. of Orangeburg; Billy Walling of St. Matthews and 1 sister; Lillian Adkins of St. Matthews

The Family would like to extend a special thanks to the Staff of 4 West of TRMC and Regency Hospice.

FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE residence; 372 Short Avenue; Orangeburg and at the funeral home.

VISITATION WILL BE HELD 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
