Mrs. Blanche Parker McDaniel Sweezy , 83 of Orangeburg, died Friday, June 12, 2015 at her residence.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 15, 2015 at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Rev. Jonathon Pearson officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
She was born April 26, 1932 in Orangeburg County, SC; the daughter of the late Earl Parker, Sr. and the late Dessie Stroman Parker. She was retired from United Technologies in St. Matthews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Jean and a son, Randy McDaniel of Cottageville. Also preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Walter "Wally" Sweezy of the home; her children, Sherry (Jim) Lane of Orangeburg, Kathy (Lonnie) Rolls of Orangeburg, Tina Taylor of Orangeburg, Jody (Dottie) McDaniel Wagoner and Floyd Douglas McDaniel of Orangeburg and a daughter-in-law; Emma Jean McDaniel a number of nieces, nephews and grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
