Brenda Still Calvert

Brenda Still Calvert, 72, of Neeses, South Carolina, passed away on May 17, 2025, in Neeses at her residence. Born on February 5, 1953, in Columbia, South Carolina, Brenda was the daughter of  Wilbur Still and the late Coralee Still. Her life was deeply rooted in the Palmetto State, where she built a legacy centered around love for her family and enduring connections with those around her. Brenda is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lynn Blackmon of Neeses; her son, Allen Blackmon and his wife Christen of Cope; and her cherished grandchildren: Chrissa Thomasson and her fiancée Travis Westbury, Victoria Humphries and her husband Hayden, Randi Blackmon, Abbie Blackmon and her fiance  Ryan Diehl, Kenneth Dubois and his partner Destiny Cupp, and Zack Blackmon. She was also blessed with eleven great-grandchildren who brought joy to her later years. She is also survived by her sister Martha Shugerts and her husband Greg; her brother Stanley Still; as well as a number of additional family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Brenda’s devotion to those she loved was evident in every chapter of her life. Her warmth and presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
