Brenda Griffin Williams , 69 of Orangeburg died Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.
Funeral Services will 3:00 PM Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg Pastor Eddie Wilson and Pastor Robert Templeton
Pallbearers will be Roy Lee Chavis, Gerald Lundy, Mike Marchant, Chris Warner, Walt Griffith and Danny Griffis
She was born March 23, 1946 in Spartanburg County, SC; the daughter of the late John Cothran and the late Willie Mae Loving Cothran. She was the widow of the late Herman "Joe" Griffin and the late Doctor Jackson Williams. She was preceded in death by a grandson; Cameron Glisson and by 3 brothers; Cecil Cothran, James Cothran and Bobby Cothran and by a sister; Helen Spires.
SURVIVORS include 2 sons; Ralph (Cathy) Griffin; Timmy (Melissa) Griffin both of Orangeburg; 3 daughters; Wendy (Tony) Huff of Cope; Brenda Jo (Randy) Glisson of Guyton, GA; Nikki (Tyler) Tschantre of Cordova; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a sister; Geraldine Chavis of Neeses; a number of nieces and nephews; special friends; Catherine Cattermole of Moncks Corner and Josie Hicks of Cordova and a special pet-dog; Ameria.
