Carol Jean Noyes

Carol Jean Noyes, 66, of Orangeburg passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 8, 2022, with her loving daughter by her side.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Carol was born on December 21, 1955, in Cincinnati, OH.  She was one of eleven children born to the late Ellsworth Noyes and the late Thelma Dirr Noyes.  Her love for helping others led her to a career in nursing.  She was a geriatric nurse for over 36 years.  Her passion inspired her daughter to become a geriatric nurse as well and she was able to care for her mother until she passed away on Thursday.  Mrs. Carol was predeceased by her parents, sister, Gerri Stovall, brothers, Thomas Noyes, Mike Noyes, John Noyes, Frank Noyes and her beloved parrot, “Frankie.”

She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Kelli Braunagel (George “Skip”); grandchildren, Sarah Braunagel, Brittany Miller (Justin), Aaron Braunagel; great-grandchildren, Gracie Miller, Abel Miller, Everly Braunagel; sisters, Roni Norman, Fran Blanton (Jim), Ruth Jones, “Chris” Sickles (Gary), Betty Weekly (Gary); a number of nieces and nephews and her fur baby “Meekah.”
