Casey "Goober" Hutto a.k.a. Ahmed Hutto was a vibrant and charismatic young man who left an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew him. With a passion for muscle cars, motorcycles, and all things iPhone, Casey embodied a sense of adventure and enthusiasm that was infectious to all around him. His love for classic rock and hip-hop music was matched only by his love of making people laugh, and his quick wit and sense of humor could light up a room.
A devoted son and brother, Casey was a shining example of kindness, compassion, and generosity. His Muslim faith guided him on a path of spiritual growth and self-discovery, and he inspired others with his warmth and empathy. Whether dressed in his signature "drip" style, repping Nike or Adidas, Casey exuded confidence and style that drew people to him.
At just 21 years old, Casey's life was a testament to the power of living life to the fullest. He was the center of attention, the life of the party, and a true friend to all who knew him. Though his time with us was all too brief, his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched, and his spirit will continue to inspire us to live with the same joy, love, and laughter that he embodied every day.
Survivors include his beloved father, Casey (Sheik Bashar) Hutto, Sr.; stepmother, Amirah (Jess) Hutto; his beloved mother, Mary Wingard; stepfather, Clint Cain; brothers, Ivan Hutto, Yusef Hutto, Gavin Cain; sisters, Elizabeth Hutto, Yara Hutto, Margaux Rodriquez; a nephew, Nicoveli “Niko” Rodriquez and many additional aunts, uncles and cousins.
