Catherine Teresa (Morriello) Simmons

Catherine Teresa Simmons, 97, of Rowesville, S.C. passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 22, 2023.  She was the widow of Louis Edward Simmons.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Northside Baptist Church, 1250 Columbia Road, Orangeburg.  Rev. Larry Williams will be officiating.  A private family burial will be held.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Northside Baptist Church prior to the funeral service.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are David Maker, Billy Maker, Yuri Davis and Adam Waters.

Catherine was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey.  She was the daughter of the late Onifrio and Angela Rose Morriello.  She was an active member of Northside Baptist Church.  Catherine will be remembered for her sweet spirit and love that she had for her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Judy Maker (William), Jean Davis (Welborne); her son, Louis Edward Simmons, Jr.; her grandchildren, David Maker (Elleni), William “Billy” Maker (Rebecca) Amanda Jill Waters (Adam), Yuri Davis (Danielle); her great-grandchildren, Joseph Salmaltanos, Kalli Salmaltanos, Charlie Maker, Henry Maker and Caroline Waters.
