Chandler Nettles, 56 of 401 Samuel Drive; Springfield died Thursday, February 26,2015 at his residence.
The Casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Springfield with burial at Morgantown Cemetery near Springfield with Rev. Jarred Pemper and Rev. Henry Cooper directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orbg.
Pallbearers will be Rufus Morgan, Wattie Fogle, Maury Furtick, Theron Inabinet, Mike Corbett, Jerry Hallman, Troy Kittrell and Allen Corbett
He was born April 8, 1958 in Orangeburg, SC; the son of Frank W. Nettles and Mary Brown Nettles. He was employed with Orangeburg County.
Survivors include his wife; Sandra Kennerly Nettles of the home; 2 daughters; Kristy (Mark) Strock of Orangeburg; Emily (Chris) Jeffcoat of Cope; 3 grandchildren; Alex, Logan and Kennedy Strock; 1 brother; Russell (Cynthia) Jones; 1 sister; Carmen Irick of Neeses; a special cousin; Pervis Hutto of North and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the residence and at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, February 27, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.
