Charles Edward "Ed" Lee, Sr, 79 of Eutawville died Monday, October 28, 2013 at MUSC in Charleston.
A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 2, 2013 with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg with Rev. Ryan Tucker officiating, directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Pallbearers will be James Watkins, Roger Kemmerlin, Harry Bozard, Tommy Douglas, Charles Moseley and Ronnie Seegars.
He was born July 3, 1934 in Florence County, SC; the son of the late Travis Lee and the late Corene Hewitt Lee. He served in U.S. Army and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife; Peggy Ann Lee and a grandson; Daniel Black.
Survivors include 2 sons; Charles Edward Lee, Jr. and his wife, Debra T. Lee of Charleston; Jacob "Jay" T. Lee of Beaufort; 5 grandchildren; Melody Ann Lee, Jade Asbury both of Beaufort; Kayla Asbury of Laurens; Tara Black of Myrtle Beach, SC and Laura Black of Charleston; 2 brothers; Donnie Lee, James Harvey Lee; 1 sister; Mary Louise Lynch all of Florence; 1 sister-in-law; Carol Driggers of Orangeburg.
VISITATION WILL BE HELD 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, November 1, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
